Omnicom's IPG Integration Is Nearly Done — and Q3 Shows It
Omnicom grew organic revenue 7.2% in Q3 as CEO John Wren said the IPG integration is nearly complete, with Acxiom/Real ID next in focus.
Wire notes
- Omnicom posted 7.2% organic revenue growth in Q3, up from 6.1% in Q2 and 3.9% in Q1.
- Q3 total revenue was $6.42 billion, or $6.01 billion net of disposed assets.
- Operating margin rose to 18.2% in Q3 from 14.8% in Q1.
- CEO John Wren declared the IPG integration nearly done less than a year after closing the acquisition.
- Priorities include pushing Acxiom/Real ID into market and connecting it to Omnicom Media via the Omni platform.

Omnicom posted 7.2% organic revenue growth in the third quarter, its strongest quarter of the year, as the company declared its integration of Interpublic Group nearly complete just under a year after closing the acquisition.
CEO John Wren made that assessment in an interview with Digiday, joined by chief growth and solutions officer George Manas and chief technology officer Paolo Yuvienco. The three laid out the holding company's priorities going forward, centered on three connected moves: pushing the Acxiom/Real ID identity solution hard into the market, connecting that solution to Omnicom Media, and extending the connection into every Omnicom agency through the Omni marketing intelligence platform.
What do the Q3 numbers show?
The quarter delivered consistent growth across the board. Total revenue reached $6.42 billion, or $6.01 billion net of disposed assets.
The trajectory matters more than any single figure. Organic growth climbed each quarter of 2025: 3.9% in Q1, 6.1% in Q2, and 7.2% in Q3 against their prior-year quarters. That means growth nearly doubled from the start of the year to the close of the third quarter.
Operating margin followed the same upward path. It hit 18.2% in Q3, up from 17.8% in Q2 and 14.8% in Q1 — a gain of 3.4 percentage points across the three quarters.
The takeaway in plain terms: every headline metric moved in the right direction, quarter after quarter, while Omnicom absorbed a rival holding company.
Why does the timing matter?
Omnicom closed its purchase of Interpublic Group just under a year ago, and large agency-holding mergers rarely show clean financials this early. The Q3 figures suggest the opposite pattern — accelerating growth and margin expansion during the integration's final stretch rather than the disruption many observers expect.
Wren's decision to declare the integration nearly done, rather than hedge on a timeline, signals the company believes the heavy lifting is behind it. The executives' stated focus on Acxiom/Real ID, Omnicom Media and the Omni platform indicates the next phase is product and data-led: knitting identity resolution into media buying and then distributing that capability across the agency portfolio.
For rivals watching the holdco consolidation play out, the message is that Omnicom intends to move from integration mode to growth mode — with an identity-and-data stack as its lead offering — heading into 2026.
