Havas grew North American organic revenue 7.5% year over year in Q3 2026, while group-wide organic growth slowed to 2.4% from 3.8% a year earlier. The French holding company reported net revenue of $782 million (€703 million) for the quarter, up 7.2% year over year, according to its Q3 2026 results.
The contrast matters. Many of Havas' rivals are struggling to grow in North America at all. Havas made it its strongest region this quarter.
What drives the headline number?
The gap between 7.2% total growth and 2.4% organic growth (growth excluding acquisitions and currency effects) points to one mechanism: buying revenue. Havas has completed eight acquisitions since the beginning of 2026. Those deals lift total revenue faster than organic growth, which measures demand from existing clients.
The pattern shows a group growing through dealmaking while underlying client spending softens outside North America. Organic growth of 2.4% in Q3 2026 sits well below the 3.8% posted in Q3 2025.
How big is the business so far?
- $2.3 billion (€2.07 billion): net revenue for the first nine months of 2026.
- 8: acquisitions closed since January 2026.
- 7.5%: organic growth in North America, the group's best-performing region.
The nine-month figure gives scale to the quarter. The acquisition count explains how Havas converts a modest organic base into 7.2% total growth.
What does Havas expect for the full year?
The company forecasts organic revenue growth of 2% to 3% for 2026. That range implies the Q3 pace of 2.4% is roughly where management expects the group to land, not a temporary dip they plan to outrun.
The forecast also frames the North America result. If the region keeps compounding at 7.5% while the group sits near the middle of the 2% to 3% range, other regions must be dragging on the total.
Why does this quarter matter for competitors?
Havas inverted the industry's usual problem. Rivals often lean on North America to offset weakness elsewhere; here the region leads while the rest of the portfolio lags. Eight acquisitions in under a year show management is willing to spend its way through the shortfall in organic demand.
The question for the next quarter is whether North American strength holds and whether the deal pipeline keeps total growth above 7% while organic growth stays inside the guided range.
