Tailored Brands plans a fleet of roughly 200 Jos. A. Bank stores, 50 K&G locations and 250 Men’s Warehouse storefronts, according to its July S-1 registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

What does the new Georgia store include?

Earlier this month, Jos. A. Bank said in a press release that it had unveiled a 4,960-square-foot store in Peachtree City, Georgia. The menswear retailer’s store features a dedicated experience center, where shoppers can receive consultations, fittings and personalized service.

Jos. A. Bank said customer research guided the layout, merchandising, available services and navigation. The retailer is also introducing an updated product assortment:

  • The Made in USA line.
  • Items made with Italian and other European-crafted fabrics.
  • Limited-edition products.
  • Expanded selections from the Traveler CoolMotion performance line and Reserve collection.

Karla Gray, chief operating officer of Tailored Brands, said in a statement:

“We’ve taken what customers have always valued about the brand — quality, craftsmanship and personal service — and brought those strengths forward in a fresh, modern way. The result feels distinctly Jos. A. Bank, while reflecting where the brand is going.”

The format combines personal service with an updated product mix inside a 4,960-square-foot setting.

How large is Tailored Brands’ store expansion?

Years after emerging from bankruptcy, Tailored Brands is plotting a brick-and-mortar buildout. Its portfolio includes Jos. A. Bank, Men’s Wearhouse, Moores and K&G. In 2020, the company eliminated $686 million in debt following its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. After spending decades as a publicly traded company, its creditors now own the apparel group.

In July, Tailored Brands filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC for a proposed initial public offering. The filing described progress on the company’s turnaround strategy and advances its effort to rejoin the stock market.

Tailored Brands said it used machine learning models, customer data, performance data from current locations and other data points to set its target fleet. Those inputs underpin the plan for roughly 200 Jos. A. Bank stores, 50 K&G locations and 250 Men’s Warehouse storefronts.

The expansion strategy pairs a targeted fleet with a newly unveiled Georgia format.

Who is leading the turnaround?

Since February 2025, Tailored Brands has changed several executive roles:

  • In February 2025, the company hired Whit Alexander as chief customer officer. He had prior experience at Best Buy, Target and McKinsey and Company.
  • Months later, Tailored Brands named John Tighe as chief executive, succeeding Peter Sachse.
  • In November 2025, the company appointed Mike Baughn as chief financial officer and promoted Karla Gray to chief operating officer.

A November 2025 press release said Baughn previously held positions at Kohl’s and Foot Locker. It also said Gray recently served as vice president and general manager of North American Factory Stores at Nike.

The next test is whether the Georgia format helps Tailored Brands reach its goal of roughly 200 Jos. A. Bank stores.
