The Chief Marketer Network today announced that AdMonsters will officially join AdExchanger, unifying content onto a single website, AdExchanger.com. The move consolidates two sibling brands under one digital roof and signals how closely the publisher and ad tech communities have grown together.

Together, the two brands say they create a more complete ad tech ecosystem. The combination pairs AdExchanger's industry intelligence and journalism with the hands-on expertise of the professionals running ad operations inside publishing companies today. For readers, the integration promises a clearer path from insight to execution. For advertisers, it offers a single, trusted environment in which to engage the full ad tech buying committee.

"For years, publishers have naturally moved between AdMonsters and AdExchanger for different parts of the same conversation," said Dave Colford, SVP at Chief Marketer Network. "As ad operations and ad tech have matured, that overlap has only increased. Bringing AdMonsters together with AdExchanger reflects us following how the community has evolved on its own, and now the entire ecosystem has a bigger platform."

AdMonsters will keep its community-driven identity and practitioner-first voice as a foundational community within AdExchanger. The brand gains expanded reach, visibility, and sustainability in return.

"AdMonsters has always been built by and for people doing the ad ops work inside publisher organizations," said Sarah Sluis, Group Editorial Director at AdExchanger. "That doesn't change. What changes is scale. As part of AdExchanger, AdMonsters' insights and community will travel further across the broader ad tech universe."

Events will change too. As part of the integration, AdMonsters content will have a larger presence at all AdExchanger events. Publishers can expect the same community-driven formats they know, alongside more accessible opportunities to learn, connect, engage, and grow.

Colford framed the move from the perspective of a publisher facing the same market pressures as AdMonsters' audience. "As a publisher ourselves, we understand the challenges. The mission of AdMonsters remains unchanged. It's to be the roadmap to growth for publishers. More time learning, more time with customers, a unified platform," he said.

AdExchanger and AdMonsters will publish the site integration schedule in the coming weeks. Both teams are working with their respective advisory boards to unite their foundational communities.

Context: The Parent Network

AdExchanger is a publication and events business covering the programmatic advertising ecosystem, offering editorial coverage, research, and industry events for media and marketing leaders. It is part of the Chief Marketer Network.

The Chief Marketer Network (CMN) connects a global portfolio of nine specialized media brands spanning the primary channels of media and marketing, from advertising technology to experiential and communications. Its aggregate audience exceeds 1 million marketing professionals. CMN brands include AdExchanger, Event Marketer, Chief Marketer, PRNEWS, LeadsCon, AdMonsters, Cynopsis, and Cablefax.

What It Means for Marketers

For marketing and media professionals, the consolidation reduces fragmentation in a crowded trade-media field. Ad ops practitioners get a single destination for both strategic industry analysis and operational, peer-level guidance. Advertisers and vendors targeting the ad tech buying committee gain one point of access to that audience.

The deal also reflects broader consolidation dynamics across B2B media, where networks are merging complementary brands to pool audiences, cut duplication, and strengthen their appeal to advertisers seeking engaged, senior communities.
