Costco's Digital Sales Top $33 Billion, Up More Than 20%
Costco's digitally-enabled sales passed $33 billion in the fiscal year, up over 20%, as nationwide DoorDash and Uber Eats delivery deals expand the club's reach.

Costco's digitally-enabled sales exceeded $33 billion in its latest fiscal year, growing more than 20%, CEO Ron Vachris said during the company's fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year earnings call on Thursday.
The figure marks a milestone for the warehouse club, whose business is increasingly living beyond the doors of its core warehouses. Digitally-enabled sales include orders placed through Costco's own channels as well as sales from third-party delivery platforms.
Partnerships with those delivery platforms have fueled much of the digital growth. Within the past month, Costco has announced nationwide U.S. delivery through both DoorDash and Uber Eats.
The model preserves Costco's membership economics. Customers must enter their membership number at checkout on either platform to prove they are a Costco member, extending the club's paid-membership model into third-party channels rather than opening its prices to the general public.
The nationwide rollouts with DoorDash and Uber Eats significantly widen the reach of Costco's delivery operation, which previously covered only select markets. Both companies confirmed the expansions in separate announcements tied to the partnerships.
For Costco, the $33 billion digital total signals how a retailer built on bulk in-person shopping is repositioning itself for convenience-driven demand. With digital sales compounding at more than 20% annually and two major delivery partners now live nationwide, Costco has a platform to keep pushing that growth into the next fiscal year.
